AUTHOR'S NOTE

Well, I finally did. Yes, I got married (again!), this time to a Thai girl. Her name is Lon (hence the double authorship on this book; she really has helped me a lot in putting this guide together). I guess I could say she is the sweetest, kindest, most lovable person on this planet. Yeah, right! Okay, so she's the best lay I ever had and the bottom line is any girl that keeps me hard for longer than a week into the relationship deserves the best. Not that marriage is necessarily the best way to go, but I figured in order to qualify to write a book on Thailand, I had to get married to really understand what makes these Thai girls tick. See what sacrifices I go through to make this the best guide on the market?

Throughout the 90's, there was tremendous political pressure in the United States (and other Western countries) to shut down the sex industry in Thailand. (All such attempts have failed miserably). They even went so far as to pass the sex travel law which makes it a felony for American citizens to travel with the "intent" of having sex with minors under sixteen. (Traveler's who seek out sex with minors under sixteen, beware!). Perhaps that explains why after the law was passed, so many single American men took up residency in Hawaii where the age of consent is still fourteen. That way, as a resident rather than a traveler, they could legally have sex with girls as young as fourteen without breaking the sex travel law. Aren't our laws on sex in the United States just fucking great!

This book is written for informational purposes and entertainment only. The sole purpose of this guide is to provide useful information for male (and a few lesbian) traveler's so they can have a safe and enjoyable stay in Thailand. If there is any information in this book that appears to be offensive to Thais, residents of Thailand or even foreigner's who have taken up residency and/or work in Thailand, let it be known that is not the purpose of this book. Both my wife and I "tell it like it is" simply so traveler's can understand the in's and out's, the do's and don'ts of safe and fun travel in Thailand.

I know there will be anti-sex groups, conservative journalists, and religious nuts who will go ape shit over some of the things I have to say in this book. To them I claim the First Amendment and Freedom of Information Act. You may not like what I say, but as an American author I certainly have the right to say it. If you prefer to live in a country where there is no freedom of speech, then I suggest you pack your bags and move to Viet Nam. There you will fit in just perfect.

For those of you who have never been to the "land of pussy" (i.e., Thailand) and are planning a trip for your first time, hang on to your seat. You are about to have an adventure that will change your life. It certainly changed mine and there is no turning back.
