In Thailand, you must pay for sex with most girls. There are few freebies out here. The way the system works is a bit confusing because in some establishments, you actually have to pay two separate fees to get laid. Let's take the Go Go bars, such as in Patpong, Soi Cowboy or Nana as examples. In the Go Go bars, here is how it works.
When you meet a dancer you wish to screw in a Go Go bar, she cannot just get up off the stage and go with you to your hotel. She is not allowed to leave with any customer at all, that is, until he pays what is call the bar fine. The bar fine is a fee you pay in advance to the bar to permit a dancer to leave with you to go to you hotel for sex (you don't think they are hiring all those lustful girls for you to take home for free, do you?).
