In the parlor you can't help but notice the huge glass plate window that acts as a gateway to some of Bangkok's finest looking women. (Some say the window is a one way mirror so the girls can't see you. I don't think that's true as the girls will often make eye contact, wave at you and wink to get you to pick them. In fact, at Atami massage parlor I know for sure the girls can see through the mirror. One day when I approached the window, the girl who knew me immediately eyed me and smiled. After smiling, I indicated through sign language for her to meet me at Thermae after she got off work. She met me that night, so obviously she was able to see through the mirror and understand what I was communicating. So the girls can see the customers through the so-called
one-way mirror. At least that is the case in the parlors I have been to.
When you enter some of the bigger parlors, such as Atami, you will be truly amazed at how many beautiful employees there are. Behind the glass window will be a group of anywhere from ten to fifty women, depending on the time of day. All the women are professionally adorned in make-up and evening gowns. On the gown of each girl will be a number tag. As you drool over the women, the manager will ask you which girl you would like to massage you. You choose the girl by telling the manager which number you like (hence, the number tags on the girls). Once you
pick a girl, the manager will use a microphone to call out the girl selected. She will then get up, go around back and meet with you to give you the massage. Before the massage, you must first pay at the counter.

Be aware that the massages are not so cheap. A massage, sex included, will cost up to $100 or possibly even more. Why is it so high priced? Mostly because the clientele are rich Japanese and Taiwanese business men who bring their clients their for R&R. So you can see the parlors are very elegant and as a result the prices are jacked up.
Although I prefer to pay for the massage in Thai baht, interestingly enough you can pay with your Visa or Master card. Imagine that. Paying for an act of prostitution with your credit card. I always wondered what Visa or Master card would do if they knew the 2% or 3 cut they get is for acts of prostitution. Let's make it even more complex. If it's true that there are prostituted children are working in these disguised whore houses, then what are we to think of credit cards companies that take a cut from that? Interesting question. Why are none of the anti-sex groups addressing that issue?
When you first walk into the massage parlor, a male manager will greet you. Keep in mind the manager is there to help you select which girl is the best for you. For example, the manager will point out to you which girls give a blow job and which girls don't. Also, there are
