Thermae is the least expensive and most laid back joint in town. There is no yelling door men to entice you to come inside, no ladies drinks, and no bar fine. When you enter, you can get your drink, grab a chair and just watch the crowd go by, all undisturbed. Or you can cruise around and flirt with all the lustful women. Speaking of which, all the women that visit Thermae are self-employed prostitutes (no virgins in this bar, that is for sure!) and come and go as they please. Therefore, if you do decide to take a Thermae girl back to your hotel, understand Thermae collects no commission from you or any of the girls. Thermae makes its' money from the sale of drinks and menu selection. That's it.

What that means is when it's time to leave with the girl of your choice, you will only be tipping the girl in your hotel room (after sex). How much will that be? It depends on the girl herself. Remember this simple rule: uglier and older women command less; the younger, more beautiful women command a higher price. At present, the going rate for a pretty girl in her late teens or early to mid twenties is 1,000 baht or $25 for "short time". By "short time" I refer the time it takes for you to screw the girl and cum. Once you've cum, the girl will get dressed and leave. In other words, short time means the girl will not be spending the night with you nor spending much time with you. Her time with you is short, hence the term "short time". She is only coming to your hotel to have sex with you and then she will shower and be on her way. As she makes her way out the door, you hand her the 1,000 baht (or whatever price was agreed upon) and she's history. If you wish her to spend the night with you, it will usually cost you double (unless the girl particularly likes you in which you may get a discount). Keep in mind many girls who spend the night will leave early the next morning, so I'm not sure if it's really all that worth it to pay extra just to have a girl fall asleep in your room and then take off early the next morning. Try to find out what time the girl plans to leave the next morning if you do want her spending the night.
