old. From her appearance on the show, Bradley and his crew attempt to prove underage prostitution in Thailand is real. Yet, according to the producer John Hamlin, they never actually checked the prostitutes ID. So how do we know she really was 15? Maybe she was 18 and just lied about being 15 in hopes to get a bigger tip. If so, the whole show collapses since that was the only underage Thai prostitute they actually interviewed (the other two clearly being of age). Given the fact that Thai hookers lie through their teeth, how serious can we take the words of a hooker who said she was 15? More so, how can we trust a TV show that does not even check the ID of the very girl in question (perhaps they did and when they found out she was of age, they figured her statement, "She said she was 15" was enough to fool everyone).
In an covert interview, Bradley presents an alleged underage .prostitute who worked in a local Thai brothel (and therefore was a low class prostitute). He then uses that as proof the high class prostitutes in the tourist districts are also underage. This is clearly a confusion of categories as low class prostitutes are a distinct and separate group from the high class prostitutes. If the producer of 60 MINUTES does not know this, he certainly is not competent to present a show on Thailand's sqx industry. If he does know this and despite his knowledge still confuses the two classes of prostitutes to push his agenda, then he is being dishonest and deceptive. Perhaps a little bit of both.
