It was October of 1997, about 2 weeks before Mac and I planned to go back to the Philippines to produce more travel videos, when I received my monthly "MEET MARKET" international magazine in the mail. On the cover was a picture of this girl that I thought was very sexy. I opened the magazine and found her picture again with a short bio on her which read:

After reading her ad and saw that this girl was in Angeles City, I now looked forward even more to my upcoming trip. I thought she was the cutest Filipina I've seen in a long time. I thought about writing her but figured I would find her when I got there. I called Jim Perry, who owns MEET MARKET magazine, and he told me the picture was very recent and he thought she'd probably still be there. If it weren't for Meet Market magazine, I probably would have never met my wife Linda.
