THE "60 MINUTES" Interview with ED BRADLEY, THE REAL STORY!

She also said that China's policy is to kill children in orphanages! And no one challenged that outrageous statement! Why didn't Mike Wallace have the common sense to ask "If they wanted to kill children, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper for them to leave the children on the street to die, rather than going to the expense and trouble of putting them in orphanages?"

Despite his prejudices, with all his journalistic experience,
we must expect better performance from CBS-TV's Mike Wallace than that!

People would have much more faith in the impartiality of the media if Mike Wallace (and his colleagues) weren't so obviously soft when interviewing people whose causes they want to promote, and abusive of those whose views differ from their own. (We have even heard that the producer boasted that his creative editing of the Jennifer Flowers story got Clinton elected.)

As crew members of the flagship of the entire CBS News operation, the 60 Minutes staff have that duty and responsibility to IMPARTIALLY report the news. When they fail to do so, they discredit the entire profession of journalism!

They are shirking their responsibility! CBS News, their advertisers, and the CBS affiliates should hear our outrage!

There are other headlines on the Internet of stories where Sixty Minutes had to say they were sorry for reporting bogus information. Like these for example: "60 Minutes Issues Apology Following Latest Drug Report"

In December of 1998, "60 Minutes " founder Don Hewitt apologized for airing a June 1997 story based on a British documentary about smugglers swallowing heroin in latex gloves to get past authorities. An investigative panel later found the documentary producers had faked locations and paid actors to portray drug couriers.
