| THE "60
MINUTES" Interview with ED BRADLEY, THE REAL STORY! |
|
|
|
There was not one mention of Gunter and G&F tours. What were they afraid of? Oh yeah, of being accurate. "Don't we deserve to know the whole truth when we watch a show like Sixty-Minutes? What was the reason for their charade?
If you remember correctly, John Wells couldn't get Mac to get his guide to take them on the tour. So, how many of YOU watching the segment that night knew about that? ANSWER: NONE. I guess they thought the "coast was clear" on this one. Besides, 60 Minutes has a history of fudging the truth, which I will talk about later.
Back to the interview. Ed Bradley continued to talk to Mac and said,
"I would like you to take a look at a section of this video that shows our associate producer, at a Thai brothel, being offered a girl who said she was 15 years old. This was all arranged by the tour guide we paid you to provide for us." (Verbatim)

It's interesting how words can make things sound different then you actually perceive them to be. Listen to what was being said here:
" offered a girl WHO SAID she was 15 years old." Now let's change the sentence. " offered a girl who WAS 15 years old."
What's the difference? Quite a bit. In the first sentence, the girl could be any age just

age! You know the joke: how do you know when a Thai hooker is lying? When her lips are moving.
On the small T.V. next to Ed Bradley, a video of hidden camera footage played for exactly 12 seconds and showed 3 females; the woman 60 Minutes said was Mac's tour guide, another female who appeared younger than the guide, and the girl in question who was supposedly 15 years old. They were standing with John Wells and had the following conversation:
