MY FIRST FILIPINA WIFE ARRIVES
IN AMERICA

I let it go down because I was unhappy at home. I buried myself in work by travelling and making more Dexter-Horn travel videos. The more I traveled the more Rowena would complain and the arguments would be continuous. I was so unhappy that when she would ask me a simple question I would answer her with a sarcastic reply. Once, my wife asked me, "What's on the T.V.?" I told her, "dust".

PLEASE NOTE: LESSON NUMBER ONE

I want you all to chant with me, "I WILL NOT MARRY A GIRL HALF MY AGE ESPECIALLY IF SHE'S A BABE WITH A HOT BODY!"

Hey, I'm human. Besides, it was my first trip to Southeast Asia and I was like a pervert in a sex shop store. I picked out the first, hot looking blow-up doll I could find. I don't mean to make a joke here. In fact, I put myself to blame for marrying Rowena. I felt really bad when I realized I was not the right one for her and made the mistake of getting married.

PLEASE NOTE: LESSON NUMBER TWO
Try to marry a girl you really "like" as well as love. Men, who have never been married before, will often times marry someone for the wrong reasons.
Well, enough of school and back to my saga. Rowena and I both agreed that the marriage was not working out so we talked about getting a divorce. If we got divorced before March 18, 1997, Rowena would have to go back to the Philippines. (An immigration rule that will be discussed later.)
Knowing this, we both agreed to stay married to each other, try to work things out, and be as friendly as possible. She told me many times she did not want to go back to the Philippines and I didn't blame her. There was much more opportunity for her here to do something good with her life and also help her family. I still cared for her and her well being very much, but unfortunately was not in love with her anymore.
