The next morning I met up with Tony and we compared notes. It turned out that he had met this young, beautiful and extremely sexy go-go dancer in one of the bars in a nearby town called Subic City. The girl had spent the night with him and didn't want to leave his bed. And from the looks I got from Tony, it appeared that he found his soul mate and was quite happy staying with this girl. I shook Tony's hand and wished him luck. I told him I'd catch up with him back in California. The three desk girls at the "Coral Hotel" were sad to see me leave and told me to come back soon. I left the town of Olongapo as my journey continued to the island of Cebu. I wasn't looking forward to that lonely bus ride into Manila but I managed to meet some more girls on the bus. It just doesn't stop here.
When I got to the Manila Domestic airport, I remember being the only foreigner in the entire gate area waiting for my plane. There was a group of twenty Filipina girls sitting a couple of aisles in front of me, all about 18-20 years old. They were going to Cebu to perform in a cultural dance celebration. I smiled at one of the girls and within four seconds, that girl came over to me and asked me what time it was. Another five seconds later,
all of the girls came over to me and started asking me questions like, "where was I from, am I a single guy, do I have a girlfriend, and would I like to get married to a Filipina.
