VIAGRA
® is a pill used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence)
in men.Intended for men with erectile dysfunction (ED), it helps

Facts
Viagra is the first oral drug for male impotence. It works by dilating
blood vessels in the penis, allowing the inflow of blood needed
for an erection. Viagra causes erections only during sexual excitement.
It does not work in the absence of arousal.
Before Use
If you have heart problems severe enough to make sexual activity
a danger, you should avoid using Viagra. Use it cautiously if you've
had a heart attack, stroke, or life threatening heart irregularities
within the past 6 months. Be equally cautious if you have severe
high or low blood pressure, heart failure, or unstable angina (crushing
heart pain that occurs at any time). If you take Viagra and develop
cardiac symptoms such as dizziness, nausea or chest pain during
sexual activity, do not continue. See your doctor as soon as possible.
If you have a condition that might result in long lasting erections,
such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma a disease of the bone
marrow or leukemia, use Viagra with caution. Also use cautiously
if you have a genital problem or deformity such as Peyronie''s disease.
If your erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek treatment immediately.
Permanent damage and impotence could result. If you have a bleeding
disorder, a stomach ulcer, or the inherited eye condition known
as retinitis pigmentosa, use this medication with caution. This
drug is not to be used by women. Its effects during pregnancy have
not been studied.
Suggestion
Cimetidine or Tagamet used in conjunction with Viagra generic,
take four 200mg Cimetidine pills and your Viagra at the same time.
The t-max (time to maximum blood levels) for Viagra is about 45
mins to 1 hr, then starts being eliminated at that point. If you
can time it that tightly, then, take it about 30-45 mins before
punching in and going to work. With the Cimetidine on board, you
will have enough Viagra to get a repeat performance a few hrs later,
because the levels will be about 50% higher.
Cautions
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in
intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible.
Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue
taking Viagra.
Directions
Taking Viagra approximately 1 hour before sexual activity works
best for most men. Depending on how and when the drug works for
you, an interval of one half hour to as much as 4 hours may prove
ideal. Viagra is not for regular use. Take it only before sexual
activity. Do not take Viagra if you are taking any nitrate-based
drug, including nitroglycerin patches such as Nitro-Dur, Transderm
Nitro, nitroglycerin ointment , Nitro-Bid, Nitrol, nitroglycerin
pills Nitro-Bid, Nitrostat and isosorbide pills Dilatrate SR, Isordil,
Sorbitrate. Combining Viagra with these drugs can cause a severe
drop in blood pressure. If Viagra gives you an allergic reaction,

migraine headache, muscle ache, numbness, oral inflammation, pain,
painful erection, prolonged erection, raised skin patches, rapid
or throbbing heartbeat, rectal bleeding, respiratory inflammation,

This is a pharmaceutical
guide to obtaining drugs or medication from Mexico. Included is a
list of pharmacies, helpful hints concerning ordering, shipping, and
US Customs regulations and guidelines. Foreign pharmacies offer a
wide array of pharmaceuticals. Legal restrictions regarding the sale
of these pharmaceuticals are in most cases less stringent. Prescriptions
are sometimes unnecessary and may be shipped without one.
US Customs may require that any "controlled substance" passing
through have a prescription. Shipments of personal medication are
not prohibited or unlawful. The purchaser cannot be prosecuted for
importing them under the personal importation policies of the FDA

Notice
Please read US Customs regulations concerning the importation of medicines,

(see traveler info - medicine). For residents of other countries,
please inquire as to the customs regulations that apply.
Several pharmacies will not ship codeine products or Hydrocodone.
However, Hydrocodone and Oxycodone can be found and purchased in person
in Mexico without a prescription. These are US manufactured products
with no foreign equivalents, and even though attainable, are pricey.
Neo-Percodan in Mexico is the equivalent of aspirin or Darvocette.
It is not the equivalent of Percodan (Oxycodone).
Phentermine (Phen-Fen) is available without a prescription from most
Mexican pharmacies. Fenfluramine (Phen-Fen) is more difficult to obtain.
DexFenfluramine is available in Mexico. Other diet aids such as Xenical
are also available without a prescription.
Negotiating the price for products, especially in Mexico, is a normal
way of doing business. If one pharmacy does not give you the price
you want, try another one.
Establish a good relationship with a pharmacy you want to do business
with -- ordering should progress more smoothly with frequency.
Although a wider selection of pharmaceuticals is available in person
due to the fact that some pharmacies cannot/will not ship certain
pharmaceuticals and that some persons working in the pharmacies may
beunaware of shipping procedures, reliability of the mail shipment
is questionable at times.
Be aware that some generic pharmaceuticals are manufactured in Mexico
and follow no FDA approval guidelines. These companies are not required
by law to meet the standards that American pharmaceutical companies
must, though this does not mean they do not. It is always better to
ask and know for sure that what you are purchasing is what you asked
for to begin with. If anything sounds unfamiliar or you are uncomfortable
with a Mexican manufactured pharmaceutical, you might want to purchase
American name brands.
If your product is considered a "controlled substance" and
is confiscated, US Customs will want to see an accompanying prescription.
A foreign prescription will usually suffice, but a US prescription
may be necessary.
US Customs' agents can refuse to clear a package they deem suspicious
and a possibility of loss with no repercussions exists. You will be
notified if the package has been detained.
If a package from a pharmacy is opened and searched if the medication
is clearly marked, there is no more than a ninety day supply, and
it is not a controlled substance then the package will go through.
If your package is seized, US Customs will notify the intended recipient.
Do not delay the actions of retrieval. If a form is sent, complete
and send it immediately. If a phone number is given, call immediately
and take the name of the agent with whom you spoke, the date, day
and time, and the contents of the conversation. Either of these methods
done in an efficient and timely manner should assist in the retrieval
of your package. Ask them to release your shipment based
on the following:
The pharmaceuticals ordered are for personal use and not intended
for commercial sale or use.
There is less than or equal to a ninety-day supply in the contents
of the package.
If the pharmaceutical is unavailable in the US, state so.
If the drug is available in the United States, make the claim that
the particular drug you ordered is superior than the one purchased
in the United States.
Let them know the pharmacy did not solicit your patronage.

and may take a day or two for them to get back to you. The same applies
to filling your order. Do not be in an emergency situation or demand

Inform the pharmacy that you have a prescription from your doctor
( if you have one ). Order the pharmaceutical by name. Most drug trade
names are different in other countries. Order the generic name whenever
possible. The pharmacy should then give a detailed account of the
ordering procedure. Do not order more than a ninety-day supply of
any pharmaceuticals.
Learn the price of the pharmaceutical(s) ordered and the price for
shipping. Prepayment is most often expected when ordering. Negotiating
the price is recommended. You may obtain the price you really want
if you negotiate well. A duty charge for your shipment may be applied,
but is unlikely. This is payable when delivered, not beforehand.
Fax your prescription to the pharmacy when ordering. Have them put
this in with your order. This will be of significant help if your
package is ever searched.
Create your own order form if the pharmacy does not provide you with
one and have them include it with your order. If seized, US Customs
will want to see this inside. Such information on the order form should
be as follows:
Name
Snail-mail address
Phone number to be reached
Name of the pharmaceutical ordered, its purpose (for personal use)
Quantity ordered (no more than a 90-day supply)
Due to US Customs and its regulations ( if not in the United States,
consult your country's regulations ), we strongly advise using the
US Postal Service Express or Priority snail-mail. Delivery time is
obviously much faster and may guard against the risk of loss and possible
inspections. If shipping by regular snail-mail, ensure it is shipped
first class. Second-, third- and fourth- class mail are considered
unsealed and have less stringent guidelines than do first class parcels.
Do not use private courier services. Not only do these tend to be
more expensive, these shipments are considered cargo and are subject
to random inspection by officials at any time. You run a higher risk
of losing your order to which there are no refunds. You have more
personal privacy, protection and rights with the US Postal Service.
Replacement insurance for your package is highly recommended.

Travel to Mexico
Most US insurance companies do not offer coverage in Mexico. Daily
insurance is highly recommended and the cost is minimal. Insurance
can be purchased at the border. Mexico does not recognize insurance
policies other than its own though some American insurance companies
extend coverage in certain parts of Mexico. Please contact your insurance
agent for further details.
A tourist card is necessary for each traveler to mainland Mexico.
You can obtain one from the airline if flying, travel agencies, automobile
clubs, Mexican tourist offices and at the border. If you are driving,
a car permit ( which dually serves as a tourist card for the driver
) is necessary and can be purchased at the border. A nonrefundable
deposit of
approximately US$11 is necessary unless you post bond for half the
value of your car. This requirement was put into place to prevent
the illegal sale of cars. Insurance for your car is highly recommended.
Insurance can be purchased at the border. Mexico does not recognize
insurance policies other than its own though some American insurance
companies extend coverage in certain parts of Mexico. Please contact
your insurance agent for further details.

Tijuana, just south of San Diego,
CA, lies right on the US/Mexican border. The San Ysidro, California/Tijuana
port of entry is open twenty- four hours per day. It is one of Mexico's
most popular tourist destinations providing extensive shopping and
dining, cultural arts with manufacturing and agricultural production.
Thousands of people cross the border daily to work or to purchase
all kinds of goods, most of the time cheaper than anywhere else.
Some San Diego traffic reports now include any time delays in crossing
the border. Money exchange is for the most part, unnecessary. Most
stores and restaurants accept US currency. Due to the constant flow
of American shoppers, Mexican pharmacists carry most pharmaceuticals
and are well aware of their US generic counterparts. You may have
to shop around to find what you want. What one shop may have the
other may not, what one shop may ship the other may not have the
ability to do so. Price negotiations are also prevalent. What one
will bargain, another may not. Keep bargaining until you reach a
price you are satisfied with. Tell them you will do business again.
If they accommodate, continue your patronage.
The city's centre is Parque Vicente, but Avenida Revolucion is the
city's commercial hub. A new numbering system for street addresses
has created some confusion. Since some still rely on the old system,
some locations are found by their cross streets. Some streets have
more than one name. Due to this and other factors, Tijuana's maps
vary from one to the other. If looking for a specific place, it
is better to ask a local for directions or hop directly into a taxi.
Travelling from California to Tijuana
From Interstate Hwy 5 in California, travel south towards the Mexican
border. You will see a big sign that reads, "Mexico".
You can use the last turnoff to park and walk across the border.
This is a fifteen minute walk. Buses and taxis are available in
the city. If taking your own vehicle as opposed to commercial buses
or taxis, you should purchase daily auto insurance. Most US insurance
companies do not offer coverage in Mexico. Daily insurance is highly
recommended and the cost is minimal. Insurance can be purchased
at the border. Mexico does not recognize insurance policies other
than its own though some American insurance companies extend coverage
in certain parts of Mexico. Please contact your insurance agent
for further details.
The border between San Ysidro and Tijuana is open twenty-four hours
per day, offering carpool lanes during the work week for any vehicle
holding four or more passengers. There is an alternative border
crossing east of downtown and close to the airport open from 6am
to 10pm. Those wishing to avoid traffic congestion may opt for this
route, but the longer route back to Interstate 5 might prove too
time consuming, thus not improving the travel time.
Trolleys from San Diego as well as bus tours are also an added option.
Trolleys leave every fifteen minutes from downtown San Diego while
bus tours like Greyhound leave daily from San Diego as well as Los
Angeles. If travelling extensively ( far south ) or if your stay
in Mexico is more than seventy-two hours, a tourist card is necessary
and is valid for 180 days. If driving, a car permit is necessary
and also serves as a tourist card. For short-term visits, a valid
driver's licence or identity card issued by the Department of Motor
Vehicles is acceptable proof of US citizenship. For citizens of
other countries, a valid passport is necessary for entry into Mexico
and a US visa is needed in addition for those who will travel into
the United States. Tourist information can be obtained at the border
for necessary documents.
Tijuana also has an international airport, Aeropuerto Internacional
Abelardo L Rodriguez, for those wishing to fly. If you want to rent
a car, the prices tend to be less expensive in San Diego. Some rentals
are allowed to cross the border.
