| Overview Sex Alot of the action takes place in Seoul. There are areas in and around Seoul that have the sex places, areas such as Itaewon and Hooker Hill. Hooker Hill is Very difficult to get laid there as it is not foreigner friendly, plus a big rip off place and very expensive. Itaewon on the other hand IS foreigner friendly and you are almost guranteed to get laid there. Then there's Songtan which is about a 40 minute subway ride from Seoul and is basically a "GI" town. It has 77 bars that cater to military guys. These bars usually charge the highest bar fines of $300 for long time or all night. The clubs have mostly either Filipinas or Russians since very few local Koreans desire to work in these clubs (They prefer to work in the factory or in a department store). Be advised that the ajimas (the older Korean ladies who serve as waiters) will try to pull some scams on the unsuspecting. Then there's Miari which is foreigner friendly one of the biggest sex districts. Goods and bads, dos and don'ts Food, sightseeing, and hiking are among the best things in Korea. Bad things include difficulty in communication, foreigner prices, and sometimes belligerent behavior towards foreigners. These bad things are easily avoided if one is smart and tolerant of Korean manners. |

| Women Age of consent Korean women between the ages of 15 and 35 are incredibly desirable (beware that 19 is the age of consent). In this age group women mainly wear their hair long and straight and their bodies are most luscious with very firm and muscular buttocks. Only about 25% of the women have busts that could be described as voluptuous, but nearly all have enough for a handful. Attitudes toward sex are outwardly extremely conservative, but once you have a girl alone (hotel, video-viewing room, et al.), then you will see the gradually beast unleashed, but it still takes a lot of junior high school tactics to get to first base. Another social lubricant is alcohol, our recommendation is a flavored soju - lemon soju spritzer are always a safe bet. Korean Men Beware that Korean men are the worlds biggest cock-blockers - they will act like your buddy and maybe even pretend to help you, but 99.9% of them will do anything to prevent you from taking their women. This is all complicated by Korean social structure which relegates a womans role in any public situation to males, who are invariably senior to the woman in some other way than being a man (age, school class, job position, et al.) Their looks About 90% of Korean women take exceptional care of themselves; unlike in North America, obesity is still quite rare and generally is due to some affliction. Although Koreans are not known for being statuesque, there are plenty of leggy girls running around. From middle school through the end of university long, straight hair is the rule of the day. The vast majority of women above high-school age dye their hair, but perms are not wide spread until the so-called ajumma stage. Once a Korean womans children are having kids of their own, 90% of these new grandmothers feel compelled to perm their hair. Youll see gaggles of ajummas roaming the streets and mountains, but dont be afraid, they wont harm you. Sex Sexual desires are generally quite conservative, Koreans arent nearly as perverse as the Japanese. Most girls will scoff at anal, threesomes, or anything out of the norm. Homosexuality is also heavily frowned upon and most Koreans will deny it even exists in their culture. This is, of course, nonsense, and youll see plenty of gays and lesbians if you want and know where to look. Honesty Honesty is a tricky subject in a Confucian country - people smile when theyre mad and nod yes when they mean no. Bear this in mind with all encounters, especially if communication is not easy. This stems for the Confucian notion of face, meaning not to embarrass oneself or any other person intentionally. Korea is categorized as a Newly-Developed Country (NDC) by the United Nations, but the desire of 99% of people is to overtake Japan as a Most-Developed Country (MDC). This comes from historical animosity and is a common theme in Korean essays and conversations, even though it is often counter-productive. Getting Married Accordingly, since poverty is not much of an issue in the south, there are far fewer Koreans looking to get out by marrying a foreigner. That doesnt mean there arent numerous mixed marriages, however. These days many girls either have a fascination with foreigners or travel abroad, or they simply do not wish to marry a Korean man and enter a lifestyle that degrades their position as a human. Tradition states that when a woman marries, she basically becomes the property or member of her husbands family, literally erased from her familys genealogy. Also stemming from this is a large number of proverbial dissatisfied housewives who are up for flings or trysts. Consequently, numerous love hotels can be found near any major city to provide the space for all the peccadilloes. You can spot a love hotel if it has some way to hide the parking areas (usually plastic sheeting that is car paint friendly); this is done to protect the identities of the participants by blocking people from seeing their cars and/or license plates. |

| Cost What will it cost on an average every day to have fun, including sex, food, lodging and transportation? Korea is cheaper than Japan, but nowhere as cheap as SE Asia - budget travelers can make do on the peninsula, but they have to know how to get around and what to do. The Lonely Planet guidebooks will help budget travelers find the best deals. Business travelers, and especially those with Korean guides, will have the most fun if they know where to go and keep an open mind. Korean food is very reasonable and excellent, but be prepared for about half the dishes to be spicy. If you avoid Western restaurants, expect to pay less than $4 a meal excluding drinks. Meals Budget: US$2-3 Mid-range: US$3-16 Top-end: US$16 and upwards Lodging ranges from very inexpensive yogwans and minbaks; basic rooms often with shared both and sometimes floor (ondol) bedding, about $15-30 a night per room, not per person; to super expensive 5-star hotels in the big cities, $250-1,000 a night with all the bells and whistles. There are many varying hotels to fill out budgets between the above - there are seldom problems with bringing guests to your room after checking in, but beware of the smaller privately-run operations. Large hotels rarely, if ever, hassle wealthy clientele. Sex All depends on location. Foreign areas i.e around military bases cost much more. Korean areas cost $50.00. Don't blow your load early or it will be the fastest $50 you ever spent as she will leave immediately right after you cum. Korean hookers are not affectionate at all, they just lay there on the ground like dead meat and wait for it to be over , they dont like their job and it shows. Hooker hill is good for blow jobs, make sure a time limit is arrange and have your watch handy. Really Korean girls can be real bitches.$300, SOFA clubs. $125 for Songtan Hotel Sports Massage. And $16/hour from the Tabangs. |

| Legal The age of consent is nineteen, but this shouldnt be much of a worry as its very rare to meet underage people in any nightclub or drinking establishment. Also, all brothel areas have police stations whose charge is to enforce age limits - ironic in that brothels are illegal in Korea. Other laws to be aware are common sense: dont jay-walk, speed, run red lights, et al., but most importantly, never fight a Korean. Although its rare for natives to confront foreigners, the end result is the foreigner is always wrong and you will end up paying a large amount of money - not in fines, but compensation to the Korean. Drugs (other than alcohol and nicotine) are rare and not at all worth the trouble. Be very wary of anyone approaching you with drugs, theyre likely a narc. Pornography is officially illegal in Korea. Prostitution As in almost all countries, prostitution is illegal in Korea. However, as in most countries, the police usually look the other way while the world's oldest profession flourishes. It has been estimated that as many as 2 million females work in the "entertainment" industry, which includes prostitutes, bar girls, exotic dancers, hostesses, barber shop attendants, and coffee shop waitresses. |
|
| Weather Best time of the year to go: Spring and autumn are both very pleasant, with the fall colors being spectacular in many of the parks and mountainous areas. Worst time to go: Winter can be quite harsh, and the skiing is not that good and is nearly always crowded. July and August are both miserably hot with frequent monsoon rains. |
|
| Holidays Best time Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving are all good times to see Korea. Worst time Christmas, the Lunar (Chinese) New Year, and Koreas Chusok (early September) are best avoided on the peninsula. |
|
| Events The first day of the first moon is Seollal (lunar new year; January/February), when South Korea grinds to a halt. The Cherry Blossom Festival in Jinhae in the province of Gyeongsangnam-do usually falls in early April (if the weather and trees cooperate). Lantern parades are held for Buddha's Birthday, celebrated in late April or early May. In Seoul, there is an evening parade from Yeo-eui-do Plaza to Jogyesa on the Sunday prior to the actual holiday. June sees processions of shamans and mask dances at the Dano Festival, and in September the National Folk Arts Festival showcases Korean culture. South Korea's biggest holiday is Chuseok ('Korean Thanksgiving'). At this time (September/October), cities throughout the country empty as people return to their family homes to pay homage to their ancestors. |

| Prices Good deals Delta, Korean Air, and Air France currently code-share and offer reasonable flights when booked ahead. Northwest and JAL are okay but go via Japan. Singapore Airlines and Thai Air are both good out of SE Asia, and Lufthansa is decent if coming from Europe. Check HERE |

| How to | |
| What to Bring Korea is mainly on 220V, although many apartment and hotels have dual outlets with 100 & 220. Its best to bring appliances that have variable voltages. Adapters can easily be bought as can appliances with dual voltage if you wish to do some shopping. Rural inns will not be as compatible as major hotels. |

| Passports
and Visas Visa With an onward ticket, visitors from almost anywhere - except countries not recognised by South Korea (Cuba, Laos & Cambodia) - can stay in the country for 30 days without a visa. If you're from Western Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand or Mexico, you can get up to 90 days visa-free. Everyone else has to extend after their first 30 days. Extensions last for around 90 days, and if you know you're going to need one it's worth getting it before you leave home. Passport Everyone needs a passport to enter the country unless youre on active duty military and serving in Korea. Lost your passport Be sure and keep a photocopy separate from your passport and/or have a copy back home that someone could fax to you. The US Embassy is well-known and is near the Kyobo Bookstore at the KwangHwaMun intersection. Other embassies can easily be found by any Korean with a phone or at hotels, information booths, etc. Departure Tax Departure tax on international flights is to be paid in won and costs in the vicinity of US$10. |

| Customs If you have nothing to declare you can declare orally. If you are arriving, you'd better have the following documents ready for Customs Inspection: Passport, Flight ticket, Customs Declaration Form if needed. If you do not have anything to declare, follow nothing to declare channel. If you do have something to declare, follow the things to declare channel. Your baggage may be examined by Customs whether you take the red or the green channel. Penalties for drug offences in Korea are severe and could result in a jail term. Your baggage will be X-rayed when you arrive. This should not affect normal camera film. Fireworks, flammable liquids, corrosives, gas cylinders are not permitted on aircraft. in your baggage. Visitors including business people and students can bring such items as desktop or laptop computers and similar electronic equipment duty free into Korea provided Customs is satisfied these items are intended to be taken with them on departure. As a routine part of their work, Customs officers may question travelers at any time. Trained dogs may also be used to detect illegal drugs or prohibited imports. If you are in doubt, declare your goods or ask a Customs officer for advice. |
|
| Payment Methods
Money Exchange You'll get a better rate on travellers' cheques than cash - those in US dollars will be more widely accepted. There are ATMs all over Seoul, Busan and other major cities, but the instructions are in Korean. International credit cards are widely accepted. There are money exchaneg booths all over the tourist districts. |
|
| How
Much Since Korea is relatively expensive, compared to Thailand or Cambodia you should bring at least $200/day. |
|
| Tipping Tipping is not a Korean custom, and only hotels and restaurants with large foreign clientele will expect tips. A 10% service charge is added to the bill in many mid-range and all top-end hotels. You'll be wasting your time bargaining in department stores - you'll have about as much chance as you would in K-mart - but you might as well give it a go in small shops and markets. Even fancy-looking tourist shops will usually bend a little on their prices. If you're going to haggle, be polite, smile and don't get grumpy. Itaewon is an exception due to the proximity of the US Army base. Taxi drivers do not generally expect tips, but very may well try to milk foreign riders for one. |

| Airport to
Lodging Incheon International Airport opened in spring 2001 and is a very modern, efficient facility. Immigration and customs procedures are among the fastest in Asia and there are numerous restaurants, lounges, and shopping facilities. Once you get off the plance and followm the crowd to the passport inspection booths and then go to get your luggage. After you get your passport stamped, and get your luggage; you go through customs with the custom forms that you should have filled out enroute to the airport. Transportation from Incheon is currently limited to vehicle traffic as the train linking the island to Seoul will not be completed for at least five years. The cheapest way into town is on one of the many buses that head to destinations all over Seoul and points farther. Average fares into Seoul are 5,500 Won (approx. $5), but taxis will cost you anywhere from five to ten times this amount and are not any faster than the buses (and can be slower due to Koreas many Bus Only lanes). Finding the buses is quite easy and all waiting lines have destination listings and maps. Information booths inside the airport are manned by bi-lingual staff as well. |
|
| Transportation Subway Seoul, Incheon, Taegu, and Pusan all have subway systems, with Seouls being one of the most-extensive in the world, and certainly one of the best bargains globally (average ticket prices are 50¢ (fifty US cents). Buses Buses of various sundry can be found nearly everywhere, even Podunk towns will have some bus service. Prices for buses are also very reasonable starting at 300 Won (25¢) for a village (mah-eul) bus, to 1,600 Won ($1.40) for a super-express servicing a satellite city. Long-distance buses will cost more than this, but are still a bargain compared to flying or renting a car. Taxis Taxis are your only transportation alternative between midnight and five a.m. when subways and most buses stop running (Seoul does run limited night-bus service). Long-distance share taxis, known as bullet taxis, go between big cities and major tourist sights. They're not metred so you'll need to negotiate a price before you set off. Taxis start at 1600 won ($1.30) and quickly increases in price beyond 3/4. Taxis cost more than the subway, but if you fancy treating yourself, deluxe taxis are comfortable, and the driver is smartly dressed and speaks English. |

| Hotels
All the usual luxury hotels operate in Seoul with free day shuttles to major sites including Itaewon. Taxis are always available at these hotels as well, although returning might be a problem between midnight and five a.m. as Korean taxi drivers avoid foreigner during these times. In Itaewon proper there is the Hamilton Hotel ($75-250), the Itaewon Hotel ($125-300), and a dozen Yogwan style inns ($20-40). In the Itaewon subway station and at various information booths on either side of the main drag, English-speaking guides can help and recommend places to fit ones budget. Beware, the Yogwans may only accept Korean currency, but there are plenty of banks, ATMs, and exchange places available in the area. Yogwans These are Korean "motels." They can be recognized by a symbol of steam rising off of a bowl of hot water. The prices are gov't. controlled. They are cheap, but clean and safe, lodgings. You may or may not have a bed. You may very well sleep on the floor on a "yo" or Korean matress. Buildings are heated through the floor. There may be hot water in the bathroom, but the bathroom may not be heated! This can make for a cold shower in the morning! It will be clean. Leave your shoes in an anteroom. Laundry will probably be done. Use common sense before even thinking of bringing a girlfriend home. Love Hotels In a "nightclub" zone, they'll all be "love hotels." A love hotel typically will have a "curtain" over the entrance of the parking lot to conceal the cars within. (And, the clients all wear sunglasses, even at night.) Just look for the symbol of steam rising off of a bowl of hot water. | Dining Dining possibilities are endless in Seoul, but some areas are more dense with restaurants than others. Apkujeong and Gangnam have many high-end places, including several Western outlets like The Outback, T.G.I.F., and Chilis among others. ChongNo is a long street with scores of restaurants to satisfy all tastes and budgets. Itaewon has a good ethnic selection, including most of the citys Middle Eastern restaurants (due to the proximity of the only Mosque in Korea). Korean barbeque, soup, and noodle restaurants are all highly recommended. Beware that a majority of Korean dishes contain liberal amounts of red pepper paste and/or garlic. Snacks can be found from lunch until late along most street - large or small - being doled out from carts of all shapes and sizes. Late night also finds the streets full of PoJang MaChoo, which are basically drinking tents that also serve various Korean snacks. Although the government has threatened to shut down these illegal operations they still thrive in every Korean city. There are also innumerable 24-hour convenience stores including 7-11s and numerous Korean versions with names like LG 25 and Buy the Way. |
|
| Water Very few Koreans drink tap water, although the government has gone through pains to demonstrate its safeness. Bottled water is basically everywhere, and even the smallest inn will provide you with some. |
|
| Language The Korean language is classified as a Ural-Altaic language, a group that also includes Mongolian, Hungarian, and Finnish. The Korean character system, "Hangul", is completely different from and independent of Chinese and Japanese. 'Hangul' was developed by a group of scholars under the patronage of King Sejong in 1443. It is composed of 10 vowels and 14 consonants. This unique phonetic alphabet is well known for its scientific syllabic system that allows great freedom of expression. The chart above presents the 24 Hangul letters and their romanized equivalents. This romanization system is based closely on the McCune-Reischauer(M-R) system. M-R romanization differs substantially from that of English and may take a little while to get used to. (There are some vowel and consonant sounds that English does not have.) Words and Phrases hello = AHN-NYUNG HA-SEH-YO goodbye = AHN-NYUNG-HEE GA-SEH-YO please = (No direct translation. Has to be used in context.) thank you = GAM-SAH HAP-NEE-DA it is nice to meet you = BAN-GAP SUP-NEE-DA take me to my hotel = HOTEL-LO GAP-SEE-DA where is the bathroom = BYUN-SOH UH-DEE-YIP-NEE-GA how much does this cost = UL-MA YIP-NEE-GA help = DO-WAH-JU-SEH-YO doctor = DOCTUH police = SOON GYUNG pharmacy = YAK-GOOK taxi = TACK-SEE train = GI-CHAH subway = JI-HA-RO bus = BU-SS street = GIL left = WEN-JOK right = OH-RUN-JOK middle = JOONG-GAN under = AH-RE beef = SOH-GO-GI chicken = DAAK-GO-GI lamb = YANG fish = SAENG-SUHN pork = DAEJI-GO-GI veal = SOHNG-AH-JI ham = DAEJI-GO-GI (same as pork) broil = GOO-YEE boil = ZIMM fry = TEE-GHEEM vegetable = CHAE-SOH salad = SA-LA-DH bread = BAANG cheese = ? rice = BA-AP potato = GAM-JA soup = GOOK chocolate = CHO-CO-RAET dessert = HOO-SIK coffee = CO-PEE tea = CHAH milk = WOO-YU beer = MAEK-JOO purified water =MOOL |

| Security Korea is incredibly safe to travel around, especially compared to similar-sized cities around the world. There are very few places one should avoid in Seoul, ironically, the only place with regular trouble are those near US military installations. |
|
| Scams There arent really any scams per se in Korea, the most annoying thing is foreigner pricing you may encounter. Taxi drivers may tend to be the first to scam you once you arrive, try to get some prearranged travel plans together before going. |
|
| Medical
Vaccinations No inoculations are required for US citizens and most other countries except several in the tropics however you may consider getting vaccinations for hepatitis, typhoid, polio, tetanus & diphtheria. Bugs Be careful of the large spiders that hang out in the bushes and trees. Medical facilities Medical facilities are generally good, but finding English-speaking service is not always so easy. There are Western and Oriental doctors widely available and pharmacies virtually on every block. Prescriptions have recently been tightened to overuse of anti-biotics, so dont expect to stock up as you would in SE Asia. Dental clinics are all around and quite inexpensive. The Osan AB Hospital has everything that you need except for if you have a heart attack, they ship you to Seoul. |
|
| Internet There are literally hundreds of Internet cafes everywhere in Korea as this is a game-obsessed society. Ask someone where a PC Bhang (PC room) is; once there, tell the person working Inn-tuh-net and theyll set you up. Rates are 2-3,000 Won an hour. Printing and scanning are also generally available. Internet in hotels is usually five times the rate of the PC cafes. |

| Phones International country code: (82) Selected city codes: Pusan (51), Seoul (2), Taegu (53) Dialing South Korea from Overseas To dial South Korea from overseas, dial your country's international dialing code, then 82 (the country code for South Korea), then the city code and finally the number. If you were dialing Pusan from the United States, for example, you would begin with 011, then 82, then 51 (the city code for Pusan), and finally the number of the person or office you were trying to reach. Assistance Numbers Operator (English speaking) 0077 International Information 0074 Local Calls A three-minute local call will cost about W40. Long Distance Calls Include the correct city area code when dialing long distance within Korea. International Calls South Korea's two telephone competitors, Korea Telecom (001) and Dacom (002) both offer international direct dial, although Dacom is the less expensive option. If surmising what the catch is, Dacom may only be reached from a private telephone, and Korea Telecom will not connect you to them. Thirty percent discounts apply between 9p.m. and 8a.m. Monday to Saturday and all day Sundays and holidays. Bear in mind that discounts will be more than amply reassigned if calling from a hotel phone. In this case, it's good to know that Korea also offers Home Country Direct access numbers to reach a home operator: Australia 0090-610 Canada 0090-015 France 0090-330 Germany 0090-049 Netherlands 0090-310 New Zealand 0090-640 Public Telephones Public phones are run by Korea Telecom and take 10-won, 50-won, and 100-won coins. Little beeps during a call indicate the box is hungry for more coins. No change will be forthcoming for 50- or 100-won coins, but if the phone isn't hung up, other calls may be made on the leftover credit by pressing the green button and hoping it works. If you spot an off-the-hook telephone receiver, most likely it was left so by the previous user for the next caller's benefit--and if not to provide a random act of kindness, than probably for the universal "we're-all-in-this-together" satisfaction of stiffing the telephone conglomerate by even just a few pennies. Calling Cards Cards can be purchased at values of W3,000, W5,000, and W10,000. Fax machines are available in hotels, at a cost of US$8 per page. More Info Public phones are available in all subway stations and hotels. About 25% take coins while for the rest youll need a card available at post offices or nearly any kiosk you see, just ask for a pone-kah-duh. Numerous calling cards are available for long-distance calls, with rates for calls to the US running about nine US cents a minute - cheaper than state-to-state in America! Some taxis, money exchanges, and a stand in front of the Hamilton Hotel all sell these, with American Access being the best deal for Americans and Canadians. Another option is renting a cellular which can be done at number of small shops throughout Itaewon, ChongNo and near SamGakChi Station. |

| Sex Sex can be found in the following places: Massage Parlors, Barbershop Massage Parlors, Thai Massage Parlors, Blind Massage Parlors, Rooms Salons (karaoke bars or hostess bars), Sex Towns, Red Light Districts, Juicy Bars Clubs, Bars, Discos. Safe Sex Aids is present in Korea, but not near the problem it is in SE Asia. Koreans are surprisingly naïve about AIDS though, many will tell you its a foreigner disease that doesnt affect them. Bullshit of course, as hundreds of Koreans are dying annually from the disease, but in a country of 48 million the incidence is quite low. Nearly all working girls will insist on condoms for intercourse, but its rare for oral sex. Korean girls seldom will allow anal sex and dont really see the point in facials. Getting two girls to perform lesbian acts is another toughie, and youd be better off looking for it over the Internet or with non-working girls. Nearly all Korean girls have scent-free pussies as the Korean diet staple Kimchi acts a natural douche and deodorant. In fact, most Korean girls dont know what the hell a douche is. |

| Legal
Age The age of consent is 19 years old. If you are in the military, there are several off-base establishments that are off-limits, consult the "Town Patrol" personnel at the Osan AB Main Gate for the complete off-limits list. |

These places basically front as a barber shop (Ee Yong-won), but theyre in the sex business. Unlike the red-light districts, the barber shops will generally accept most white foreigners. How to Locate Them Barber Shops might be found below street level, or above it. Ask a Korean or long-term expat how to locate barbershops as its often difficult to distinguish the massage variety from the legitimate hair-cutting places. The easiest way, however, is to look for spinning barber poles any time between midnight and seven a.m. Chances are no one is looking for a trim and shave at these hours. Koreans commonly say that places with double poles are the massage joints, but this isnt always true. How It Works There will be a man and a woman or two. The women are not typically all that yourng or attractive. Another tip off is that there will be a large back room with reclining chairs/tables. A possible order of business might be a hair cut by the man. Then, you go back and hop on the table. Shoes are removed and your feet are washed. Then come hot towels for your face. Your eyes are covered and you'll be aware of your attendant moving about. The tension can be arousing in itself. The shave is with a razor or scalpel and long and slow and thorough. You may get a face pack of sorts. In any event, your eyes are covered. A massage will follow. It's nice, though little more than head and shoulders. Working down your abdomen, she'll check for an erection. Then you get to lie face up with your pants pulled down and a hard on and have no idea who might be watching. (It's very possible that people will come to stare at the foreigner's dick.) She may start to give you a hand job at this point. She may also hop up and fuck you in a female superior position or bend over and suck you off. You can touch her everywhere at this point since her panties are removed. You might also be able to liberate her boobs which will up to her. After you cum, she cleans, and she finishes the massage with your legs. Then, back to the barber chair for a shampoo and blow dry. It's only common sense if you plan to return for another haircut. Allow two or three hours for all of this. A ball-freezing winter day is best; it's cozy! Summer is okay too; they've got air-con. Forget the woman might be decades older than you; she's still Asian and it's an experience every man should be treated to once in his life. These places tend to follow daylilght hours; it's a blowjob for lunch. Some places are nocturnal, but expect only a blowjob and plan to pay 70,000 won or so. Costs One-hour massages with hand-jobs run about $45, but you can negotiate. Intercourse and oral sex will run more, there are no set prices, and you can bargain for take-home fees. You should do this before getting any action so the price is inclusive and not an add-on fee. Due to Koreans rampant jealousy, its unlikely youll be able to have more than one girl do you at a time. And once youve been to a place, when you return theyll assume you want to be with the same girl. Cost in Jonju is about 50,000 won and a modest tip (5,000 won, only 10%) is appreciated. Take a Taxi to the Grand Mart in Seoul which is a large grocery and department store {cost 1500 won) Continue to walk down the street into nightclub area and you begin to see barber shop poles by entrances and stairways. After a shave you get a blow job and sex. 50,000won Thai Massage Parlors Thai massage parlors are available in Itaewon, as well as sports and Swedish massage. These are also legitimate, although the girls have been known to freelance on the side. Blind Massage Parlors Famous in korean underground. A blind woman enters the room who is usually unattractive and will give you the best massage you ever had. Then after she is done, a beautiful 20 year old Korean woman will come in and service you korean style. Legitimate Massage Parlors Legitimate massages can be found in nearly every bath house in Korea, but it will be done by a Korean of your gender (approx. $8 for an hour). Rooms Salons (karaoke bars or hostess bars) Room Salons are interesting money pits that make millions of dollars a year by catering to businessmen who want beautiful women to pour them over-priced whiskey and light their cigarettes. Avoid these places unless your hosts are taking you and paying. Here you sit in plush surroundings with gorgeous young Korean girls who laugh at your dumbest jokes and put on the charm because youre paying a thousand dollars for a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label. If your hosts are overly generous, these girls can be taken home, but only for an extra fee of several hundred bucks. Moronically, most Korean businessmen are quite satisfied with just paying the big bucks for nominal company and then go home to their wives. The popularity of these places is hard to figure out. How it Works The girls will strip, dance and sing. Then they push their breasts and pussies in your face and lay naked on your lap as they wiggle around on your cock. They'll pour whisky bottles all over their naked bodies and then ask the customers to lick it off their tits and pussy. They'll take your hand and force your fingers down their pussies so you can finger fuck them, then they'll unzip your pants suck you off right there in front of everyone. Basically you have a mini orgy for your very own. The girls will go for private sessions afterwards in short time hotels. Tabangs (tearooms) There are tearooms scattered all over town. You have to have a good knowledge of Korean to go to these places, since the girls working there do not speak or understand English. These tearooms charges 20,000 won ($16) per hour to take a girl out or to call in for the girl so that she can meet you at a prearranged place. Sex Towns 4-5 blocks of brothels with glass windows, showing the girls in the windows and then choose your fetish. Other places have them behind curtains. The mamasan will open the curtains for inspection if she wants you to bang her girls. Sofa clubs $300 for bar fine and you can take them back to your hotel. Red Light Districts Miari This is the largest of Koreas red-light districts, virtually an entire town with shopping, restaurants, and even a police station. The setup is more cramped than in other places, so driving through is not an option. Alleys basically rule and this reminiscent of Amsterdam. The Girls Definitely a feast for the eyes, the girls in Miari dress to suit Korean mens fantasies and are nearly all in HanBok (Korean traditional dress) or huge white wedding dresses. Youth rules the day in Miari, although underage girls have all but disappeared over the past few years since a female took charge of the resident police station. Foreigners will do best during the day or on weeknights. Forget about getting action on a weekend unless youre with a Korean who is a regular and can take you to an accommodating shop. One-nut prices are in the 50-70,000 Won range. Procedure As described above, the girls will solicit you. However, in Miari ajummas run the show and the girls do as theyre told. One can have a drink and snack at one of the soju tents and check out the girls nearby. Close to 100 food stands with items like fresh seafood, beer, wine and other Korean foods are available on the same street. Otherwise, just roam as usual. Things get going at 8pm till dawn. How To Get There North of Seoul proper, the easiest way is by subway. Take the Blue Line #4 (transfer from Itaewons line at SamGakChi) north to Mia Sam-kori (Mia intersection). Note that this is one stop before Mia City. Go out exit #4 and youre there. Since its a large area, it could take 30-40 minutes to check out all of the nooks and crannies. If taking a taxi, just say Miari. From downtown its about 15,000 Won with not traffic. Shin Yong-san A red-light district situated about 10 minutes from Itaewon either by taxi or subway and right next to the main Yong-san train station. There is a main street about 400 meters long with women behind clear glass and hanging out the doors propositioning Johns (O-pah in Korean). Off the main street are several side alleys with obvious lighting and glass fronts. The Girls The girls on the main street come out when a car or person passes by calling them. Nearly all the girls are dressed very sexy with skin-tight pants, bra tops exposing maximum cleavage, super high-heels, long hair, and thin bodies (although about half have paunches). Most girls were similar except a few who had opted for 44 DDs when they went under the knife. Ages ranged from about 20-30 years old on the main street; in the back alleys and side streets are the older woman as well as some younger more aggressive types. Procedure Due to the proximity of the main US Army base, Shin Yong-san girls are either jaded or strictly told by their ajummas (madams) to refuse foreigners. Even if a Korean man escorts a foreigner, the girls will berate the Korean for bringing a dirty foreigner along with him. Rumors abound as to why Korean working girls disdain foreigners: we take too long, we are too big (which is true on average, try a Korean condom on for size), Korean men will avoid girls who service foreigners, a girl who takes foreign clients will tarnish her image as well as the place she works from, and just plain old prejudice - Koreans still naively believe AIDS and other STDs are foreign diseases. If you look at all Asian, regardless of your Korean ability, the girls will take you in. If you are a businessman dressed up and with several Korean businessmen, then you should have no trouble - but you may be better off at a massage parlor or room salon (see below for descriptions). Shin Yong-san, if nothing else, is great for eye shopping with seriously beautiful Korean girls young, thin, and sexy. Current prices are 60-70,000 Won for short-time sex (basically, one nut). Once you pay, the girl will lead you into a small back room likely without a bed, probably a simple mattress thrown on the floor. She will ask you to disrobe (boht-dah), lay you down, hand you a condom and start the action. Very little emotion will be shown and her only concern will be to make you finish quickly. Once you cum, she will say you finish, you go now! Get dressed and get the hell out - time is money and they wont take kindly to anyone with whiskey dick. On rare occasions (slow weeknights for example) you may find a girl that will be into it, but experience and word around Koreas expat campfire shows this is a rarity for working girls. Directions Take the #4 Blue subway to Shin Yong-san station; one stop south of Sam Gak-chi, which is a transfer point from the #6 line coming from Itaewon, about 10 - 15 minutes total. Take exit #4 and keep left. Youll see the red lights pretty soon as its only 50 meters or so. You can also take the main Korean above-ground line #1 (Dark Blue Line) to Yong-san Station. Go out the southern exit (away from the electronic markets) and the red-lights will be straight ahead on a cross street approximately 100 meters on foot. Tell a taxi driver Shin Yong-san and hell likely know what you mean. If not, tell him Chahng-yo, which means working girls. Although Shin Yong-san mainly caters to Korean men, it is possible to find action, especially if you dress right and speak some Korean or are with someone who does. Itaewon A Mecca for foreigners seeking action. shopping, bars, clubs, and easily-available sex. Situated behind Burger King running parallel to the main drag you will find Hooker Hill. This is basically a steep alley that ends at the Hill Top Motel - one of the sleazier places to bed down. Juicy Bars Juicy bars are found near U.S. military camps. These cater mostly to foreigners, with clients buying overpriced drinks (10,000 to 20,000 won or more for a drink that usually contains little or no alcohol) for the girls. Girls in Juicy Bars do not stand behind glass like in areas that cater to Korean men. Generally, they peer out the windows and come outside as you pass to invite you inside. Sometimes this involves dragging, hair grabbing, and even snatching items like hats for you to retrieve inside. If you refuse their offerings, they very well may tell you off. Weeknights the girls are more aggressive in their tactics. Military paydays falling near weekends (the first and fifteenth of every month) are the busiest and most annoying times as the are will be saturated with young GIs. As a side note, the military has enforced a curfew (midnight on weekdays, one a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays) since the terrorism of September 2001. This is a boon for civilians as you can bide your time while the GIs liquor up the girls and then have to leave. Once theyre gone is a great time to move and avoid spending too much. This goes for regular as well as working girls, of course. The Girls Itaewon girls come in all different shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Nearly all working girls are based in Juicy Bars, which basically involves you buying high-priced colored water (disguised as bourbon) for $10-20 US. These drinks usually last 5-10 minutes, and if you refuse to keep buying, the girls will take their interests elsewhere and very well may ask you to leave. These bars are pretty much a waste of time for sitting and drinking unless you sorely need to buy company. Most girls are fairly young and slim with decent bodies and generally dress in street clothes with very few sporting Summer dresses (when the weather is good). Compared to strictly Korean red-light districts, Itaewon working girls are usually not as hot, although every bar should have at least one to please most tastes. Prices Prices here are much more open for barter than in other areas: a weeknight BJ could be as low as 25-30,000 Won (weekends reach up to 50,000), while intercourse starts around 50,000 M-F and reach up to 200-300,000 Won if you take a girl home. These girls are crafty and will do anything to jack up the price, so make sure everything is set before you begin - write it down if theres any doubt. Your wallet can easily be emptied on ladies drinks without you even copping a feel if you dont watch yourself. Also be very careful when using a credit card in these joints as weve heard of many men signing for an amount they believed was far different than the one they later received on a statement. Use cash. If you let them, Juicy Girls will tease and pamper you until you have dropped 100 bucks, then when you ask for some sex she will say, sorry, Im not that type of girl. Be aggressive and demand up front what you want, you lead them! If they dont go for it, move on, theyre plenty of girls on the Hill. Bars The most popular bars on the Hill are the Royal, Texas, Tiger Tavern, and the Best Club. Texas has a free pool table and nice bar with fine looking ladies. Tiger Tavern is more aggressive and the workers are pros, don't mess around. The Royal is the first bar on your right when heading up the main upper section of the Hill, the girls therein prefer wealthy business clientele, so watch your plastic. The Best Club is the most capacious of the Juicy Bars and actually has quite a pleasant atmosphere with a nice pool table. Weeknights are a bit slow with not enough girls working, but they are usually fine as they come. How To Get There Any Korean can direct to Itaewon and there is transportation directly from the airport or basically anywhere else in Seoul. Once in Itaewon, find only Burger King across from the Hamilton Hotel in the center of the main drag. Down and behind the Burger King about 40 meters you will find a rather large alley. Take the alley going up (east) and you will soon encounter some ground-level Juicy Bars. Take the alley past the next block and you will come to a steeper section: this is where most of the juicy bars are concentrated, along with some decent late-night watering holes including Stompers, Friend Club, Space, and the Grand Ole Opry if you packed yer shit-kickers and a big belt buckle. Chongyangni (588) One of the largest Korean red-light districts, complete with drive-through viewing, and a must visit for the keen sex tourists. Some of the hotter Korean girls work the main street here. Scores of girls work in dozens of glass-fronted shops on the main streets and side alleys. The Girls The girls are nearly all young, beautiful, and thin with long black hair. Breast enhancements are noticeable on about a third of the girls (gifts from the ajummas running the shops). Dress is of the slutty, provocative type with skin-tight pants, bra tops, and the ever-present giant platform shoes. As described before, girls on the main street are not affable to foreigners, better luck can be had in the alleys, although quality may be compromised. Procedure Take your time walk around check out whats on offer, not all the girls are open to foreigners, as mentioned before about most Korean red light districts, yet this place has good chances and the views alone are worth your time. Once youre successfully called in, the girl will lead you into the back room and the gig is the same as above: once you cum she will rapidly dress and ask you to leave. Prices are 60 - 70,000 per nut. How To Get There Taxis take about 15-20 minutes from downtown or Itaewon, but will be significantly longer during rush hours. Tell the driver Chongyangni or Oh-pawl-pawl (588), the Korean nickname for the area. Subways are quite easy as Chongyangni Station is on the Dark Blue line #1. The subway system is very easy to use and Koreans will gladly help if you get lost. The last train is around 11:30 p.m. From Itaewon take the #6 subway to Yaksu, transfer to the Orange Line #5 going north and transfer again at Chongno Sam(3)-ga. Take the Kookcheoul (national railroad) #1 line east to Chongyangri. Exit out number 5, and from there turn left towards the bars and you cant miss the red lights and girls soliciting all the Korean Oh-pahs. Shinhing Locate in the southern area of Seoungnam near Chamshil, this red light district is similar Shin Yong-san, although this one has more girls. There is one long street with around 100 shops great for eye shopping. There are also numerous side and back alleys that are generally more accommodating to foreigners as will all the places. The Girls These girls here seem a little older than the other places, perhaps from 24-34. Girls here dress in themes and each store has different costumes. All shapes and sizes can be had, but the girls are far less jovial than in the other areas - likely as gangster-run operations that virtually enslave the girls, a big problem in many Korean brothels. Foreigners solo or with other foreigners dont fare so well, but those with at least one Korean man should have no trouble. Prices are in the typical 60-70.000 Won range. Procedure Same as above. How To Get There Subway From Itaewon take the subway to Yaksu, then transfer to the Orange Line #3 south towards Apkujeong. Take the train until it terminates at Suseo Station. Transfer to the Brown Line (the Bundang Line) and go to Moran Station, then transfer again to the Pink Line #8 for two stops to Shin Heung Station. Go out exit #2 and turn left and youre there. Taxis Taxis from north of the river or Itaewon will run about 25,000 Won if theres no traffic, while the subway is around 1,000 Won. Buses are available for the adventurous types and can be boarded at Gwang Hwa-mun, GangNam, and Chamshil-costs are from 600 to 1,200 Won. Texas Street (also known as Mia-dee or Chongyangni) In Pusan, most of the ladies and most of the customers are Russian. The Russian ships dock at Pusan for repairs and there are alot of Russian men about banging all the chicks. The cost for short time is 50,000 - 100,000 won and for all night 100,000 - 200,000 won. The older Russian blondes go for 10,000 won. There are others that are very beautiful but they work as just hostesses. You'll also find some Filipinas in this area as well. Clubs, Bars, Discos Hotel Bars Unless you enjoy spending $10 for draft beer, you should avoid all hotel bars. Theyll stiff you for 20% tax on top of their already-exorbitant prices. Having said that, hotel bars often have some hot girls gold-digging for a wealthy foreigner. Prostitutes seldom work these scenes as they do in Las Vegas or the like. Discos There are many discos throughout Seoul with nearly every major hotel having at least one. The Grand Hyatt and Hilton hotels both have hopping (although expensive) discos. In the Grand Hyatt is a great pick up bar called J.J. Mahoneys, on the ground floor - the girls therein are partial to white guys in suits with platinum credit cards, but they will come back to your room once theyre liquored up. Itaewon is home to numerous clubs with the Hollywood Basement being the current winner for weekends. The HongDae area is by far the best Korean area for discos, with most going to the wee hours. Boston Club Ladies drinks are 10,000 won. Short time can cost anywhere from $80- $120 depending on how much you haggle, and how many potential customers there are out that night. |

Korean girls are nearly always against video or photos until theyre comfortable with you as a boyfriend. Working girls may agree, but negotiate beforehand. There shouldnt generally be a surcharge for photos. |

| Recreation Sightseeing Seoul has many interesting palaces, mountains and museums. The best and easiest way to get on overlook is to take the Seoul City Tour bus which makes innumerable stops throughout the city. You can begin your tour at any stop and pay the driver directly. One-day passes run from 5-10,000 Won, and a two-day pass is 20,000 Won. All major markets, palaces and Itaewon are on the route. There is also a special Museum Tour bus. A tour to the DMZ on the border with North Korea is also worth a day. Pamphlets for the many operations doing this can be found in most hotels or city information booths. Shopping NamDaeMun and TongDaeMun are enormous areas with thousands of shops. If you wander long enough you can find basically anything in these places. Leather, silk, luggage, and outdoor goods are all great deals. Most hotels offer free shuttles to and from the major shopping area and all are serviced by subway and bus. Dongdaemun Market has long been known as a great place to find bargain prices when the wholesalers are open late at night (the area is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.). Food stalls and tents line the sidewalks around Dongdaemun Market to cater to the hungry buyers and sellers. Many also make frequent deliveries inside the myriad of shops to deliver food to the shop owners. These days, however, the focus is on the younger crowd that has begun coming to the area. Dongdaemun Market is located near its namesake of Dongdaemun <travinfo.cfm?TravelID=133> (Great East Gate). Korea's largest wholesale and retail shopping district has 26 shopping malls, 30,000 specialty shops, and 50,000 manufacturers. Within the ten blocks of the market area, you can find silks, clothes, shoes, sporting goods, plumbing and electrical supplies, electronics, office supplies, toys and just about everything else imaginable. |
