Oh, you don't want to go there. The place is crawling with child prostitutes recently orphaned by the tsunami in Indonesia and Sri Lanka and shipped by UNICEF and Save The Children to Bulgaria where they were sold to local pimps as sex slaves. |

Sorry Jens. I was only kidding with you. Bulgaria is not exactly on the top ten list for places to chase pussy in the world. As far as I know, there aren't any more child prostitutes there than anyplace else in the world (which is next to nothing in areas frequented by your typical sex tourist).
I take it you are traveling to Bulgaria on business, as nobody in their right mind would go that far off the beaten track just for the women. You are likely going to find a mixture of Eastern European women in night clubs and through escort agencies. Do an internet search ahead of time and then check the local papers when you get there for current info on the location where you will be. Also check with hotel bell hops and taxi drivers to find girls who play for pay.

I've been to Sofia three times in the last few months and have been treated to some fabulous hospitality by a very wealthy and well connected Bulgarian businessman, which on one occasion included having a former Bulgarian Playboy centrefold delivered to my hotel room for the night. The other times were much the same deal with stunning models being brought to my room. It cost me nothing but that is very much how business is done over there. A lot of models are high class working girls at night to supplement their income, as income levels in Bulgaria are considerably lower than other Eastern European countries. There are some top class "red bars" and nightclubs in the inner city wealthy area, with the highest percentage of gorgeous girls I've seen anywhere, however not all speak English and not all are there to be picked up, so it is somewhat risky being too open too quickly about your intentions.
Be aware that a LOT of the sex scene is controlled by the Bulgarian mafia, which if you know a successful businessman there will be OK, as they're mostly in with the right crowd. So if you're looking for a good time there try to establish a reliable local contact to arrange things for you.
The coastal resorts are far easier to cover as it's more geared towards tourists.
All in all, not a country I'd recommend for a solely sex-oriented excursion, as the risks are higher, and the ease of finding what you want without local knowledge is much lower. |

I guess to the novice it's hard to find action in Bulgaria, they don't have much money to set up big clubs. What they do have is plenty of young, attractive women. I call it the Thailand of Europe that the locals keep to themselves. Perhaps this is why you don't see many Eastern block people in Thailand. Bulgarian women can range from dark to American looking white. I prefer Sofia as the town to find the best women. What people don't know is half the hotels here double as brothels. I like the Rodina, where at the bar you can usually find about 10 women just waiting to spend time in your room. Prices when converted to dollars are a low $12 US dollars for all night. Think about it, you can be a cleaning woman for less money or have sex with a tourist for ten times more then you make in a week. While I've heard of guys paying as much as $100 a night with these women it really depends on your negogiation skills. There are far too many women versus men around. If you can't find what you want at one hotel just walk next door to the next.
Safety wise I've never had a problem and this is most likely what keeps prices down in Bulgaria. Most people have never been here and think its dangerous, while this is true for even New York in the USA crime here is pretty much unheard of. Without paying anything you can see girls from different countries. I found this site via one of the girls I met in Bulgaria who told me I could contact her via the website. However I was NOT to pay anything. It's just a way to see them. |

Imho - I really appreciate the recent posts from yours truly - a real pro. They are very informative and you have nothing to prove so you just give the facts. After reading the post above it occurs to me that I recently mentioned in the Ghana section that people on the East Coast should consider action other than Thailand and Angeles - Ghana, Gambia and now Bulgaria ?. I have been to many European countries but never Bulgaria and now I read that you describe it as the Thailand of Europe. I looked up the link and see that the Rodina is about $100 which is a lot more than hotels in Pattaya and Angeles. Two questions - do you have any knowledge of lower priced hotels in Sofia and any suggestions for a visit to the Black Sea. You have piqued my curiosity for Bulgaria!! I have had great experiences in the Czech Republic, East Berlin in the good old days, Romania and Russia but now the latter is ludicrously expensive. I travel a lot on business but am now considering adding another string to my bow - Bulgaria. |

Same request - any data about going to teh Balck Sea in Bulgaria. A city is fun for a few days but the sea side really gets the juices flowing in the girls.
Does anyone have info on the seaside in Bulgaria ? |
