are Adalita girls allowed to go to any hotel room they choose, or just the place upstairs? any suggestions for a decent place for a daytime stay? |

Stikky, I would stay at Pueblo Amigo or out at the Country Club, near the horse track. It's a ways from the zona permisso, but you will be more comfortable there. Just get a cab back and forth to Adelita's. Park on the US side, take a red or blue shuttle bus to the station at the Rev. OR, walk across the border, and get a cab right there to take you to the hotel. As for the girls, they can do whatever they want. You need to be a realist, and understand that if you pick a real hottie, she can do 3,4 or 5 guys a shift. At $70 a crack, that's $300.00 or more she'll make if she stays there. To take her to your hotel for a while, she'll want some dough. Most of the girls don't get off until 4 or 5 AM, so cutting a deal for when she gets off is not very convienient. To me, TJ is a quick fix until you have enough vacation days to go to Thailand....... Have fun!! (I'll probably make the run in a couple weeks, too!!) Later, The Snizzz |

snizzz, not entirely accurate information. During their working hours, Adelitas girls can ONLY go to the hotel above Adelitas. Exception to this: 1. If you pay a bar fine, the amount of which varies from bar to bar. You will also need to pay the chica more money, because they will be away from the club for some time, losing other potential clients and money. 2. If you get to know a chica, you can arrange for her to meet her after her shift is over. This will avoid the bar fine, but still will probably cost you more than if you just go upstairs at Adelitas with her.

Does anyone have any input as to Hotel San Nicolas, on Madero between Calle 1st and Calle 2nd? I don't want to stay too far from La Zona Roja. I'm looking for a place to relax while recharging the old batteries, to shower off any incriminating evidence, and to sleep for as many hours as necessary so I'll be in a condition to walk back across the border and drive home. I figure I'll go from the hotel to La Zona 3 or 4 times roundtrip, so it should be a short walk!

No input on those ones, but I highly recommend Hotel leyva right next door to Chicago club. Its resonable, clean, and very close to the action. I have been going there for years and always keep going back |

Thanks, BellDude. I've only spent 30 minutes or so at a time in any of the hotels right in Zona Roja, and never thought about staying right in the Zone. Do you know the approximate rate for an overnight room at Hotel Leyva? I do not plan on bringing anyone back to my room. I'll keep my private space separate from my carnal space! |

well, It is normally between 25-29 bucks a night and that includes parking if you drive across. For me its the best deal of all. It can be fun to stay at Hotel Cascadas 2000. it is also about 30 bucks a night and right in the middle of everything. either way you cant go wrong. |

Thanks for the information. I won't drive across. i prefer to park in the States and walk across, to save the hassle of driving back.

TJ, Hotel Nelson: This is a large hotel located at the corner of Avenida Revolucion and Primera, (First Street) near the arch. This is just a couple of blocks from the heart of the Zona Roja action. All the mariachi bands hang out at this corner here looking for work. August 2005, the hotel charged $32 for a mid-week night for one guest, for an interior room. This was the posted price, and it was non-negotiable when I showed up, mid-week at 7:00 p.m. Hotel Nelson is certainly not a luxury hotel, but it is good enough for what I needed – a place to relax, to leave my stuff and to recuperate between trips to the Zona Roja. Having to spend a lot of time in this place would be pretty depressing. My interior room didn't have any street noise. I didn't hear any noises from the adjoining rooms. The room was furnished with a queen sized bed that was clean and reasonably comfortable, a grungy looking armchair (I didn't touch it, because it looked so bad), a nightstand, dresser, a very old color TV. There was a narrow closet. The bathroom was large and clean, but looked dingy; the sink, toilet and shower all worked. There was toilet paper, two tiny bars of soap, two packets of conditioning shampoo, a hand towel and a bath towel. The bed room had a ceiling fan, which kept the room reasonably comfortable. There was a transom window above the door, so that there was ventilation into the hotel corridor; this was an obvious security weakness, but I didn't worry about it. Obviously, there was no a/c. I was on the fifth (top) floor, and the elevator worked. The lobby was O.K., but there were no sitting areas/lounge areas. The staff at the front desk was courteous. I spent some time in the lobby, and in the street right in front of the hotel. I noticed a few couples (not hookers and pussy hounds) who were guests of the hotel; I don't know what percentage of the guests are pussy hounds, and what percentage might be respectable! There is a bar, which had recorded music and was showing porno on the TV displays; because of the TVs, I don't consider this a family place, but when I strolled in, I didn't see any hookers. There is a relatively decent looking restaurant, which I did not try.

The Hacienda de Santiago is a nice place with no bar underneath with loud music playing. I think you can get an overnight room for less than $40 there and the rooms have a kitchen and fridge. Most Zona chicas will go there after there shift...some street girls will, but that is a little tuffer to cell. It is on the North East corner of Coahuila and Rev. Free parking for clients as well. |
